Today was a super low key day. I slept in until 12:30 for our 1:00 lunch. We got sandwiches and ate them in Sofienbergparken in the heart of Grünerløkka. After stopping back at the hotel, Richard and I went on a long walk around town, exploring where we were allowed to within the red box. My guess is that there may be an Oslo themed episode in the future, which is why we’re not allowed to go further into the city. It seems like they have an Oslo episode every season.
The weather was amazing, and seemingly everyone in town was at the park or an outdoor café – the people watching was amazing.
Eventually we came back to the hotel and as a group went out for Thai food. After dinner a few of us stopped for ice cream at a park. Joni played with a little girl for about 20 minutes straight, being splashed with fountain water again and again. She’ll clearly make an amazing mom one day.
Me, Thomas, Lauren, and Kelsey chatted for about an hour in the hotel lobby area, then I’ve just been catching up on journal entries for an hour or so. Off to bed. Apparently we have a 7 hour bus ride tomorrow!
