As we’ve settled into a bit of a rhythm, today is low key interview day. We woke up for breakfast and were joined by the crew around 10:30. Interviews were about 45 minutes each with a break for lunch, so we’ll be here until about 5:30.

My interview went well – part one wearing our “Assasin’s Creedesque” Birkavinaere outfits, part two wearing our team colored pullovers/jackets.

During my interview I made sure to give the editors and loggers behind the scenes a shoutout, at which point I learned that episode three was being edited by a guy named Lars! Very cool! I’m so grateful for all the work our crew does for us to make this such an amazing experience, yet there are plenty of crew members we don’t get to see on a daily basis (people who literally type up our entire interviews and editors who put the show together) – I’ve done some video production work (mainly in high school) but I know how tedious and thankless that job can be, so I’m going to make a point to show them my appreciation whenever I can!

At dinner we learned the winning team didn’t have any obligations the next day until 1:00 PM, and we will have a travel day on Saturday, so I’ve got 3 pretty laid back downs in a row here which is great.

After dinner, cast and crew watched the Eurovision semi finals together. Much to the crowds dismay, Norway was not one of the 10 songs to advance. It was great getting to spend relaxed time with the crew, and I got to have a great conversation with Kristian the director. It’s going to be tough to see someone go home tomorrow, but that’s part of the show.
